Alexander Clark
Alexander Clark is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Technolutions. Alexander founded Technolutions in 1994 while a seventh-grader in Mississippi. In 2000, while a first-year English major at Yale, Alexander developed and introduced Slate, which supports the enrollment, student success, alumni and advancement operations at over 1,700 colleges and universities worldwide. Described as a higher ed "Wizard of Oz" in a feature article in the Chronicle of Higher Education, Alexander has continued to lead Technolutions and its Slate community through its decades of innovation and growth.
Alexander has a tremendous commitment to education as the Founder of Slate School, a non-profit K-12 independent school located in North Haven on a 40 acre campus with a focus on cultivating creativity, fostering ingenuity and curiosity and inspiring a deep passion for lifelong learning. In 2018, Alexander was awarded an honorary Doctor of Humane Letters degree by Quinnipiac University for his work as an entrepreneur and philanthropist.

Matthew Burris | Director of Innovation
Matt leads our Innovation Division responsible for ensuring that Slate continues to evolve to meet the needs of our growing and diverse community. This involves everything from product management and engineering to client success, documentation, and training. Before joining Technolutions in 2014, he actually helped implement Slate at Claremont McKenna College and Occidental College in Southern California. Matt has a BA in Government and Psychology from Claremont McKenna College.

Jen Chobor | Corporate Counsel
Jen partners with her colleagues and Technolutions’ clients on all aspects of legal and compliance matters. In her role as Corporate Counsel, she manages client and vendor contracts and supports the Company’s RFP and client onboarding functions. She also coordinates strategic initiatives in alignment with the Company’s goals and culture of people-centered priorities. Prior to joining Technolutions, Jen owned a legal consulting practice, was in the private practice of law in New York City and Fairfield County, Connecticut, and was in-house employment counsel for two Fortune 500 companies in the financial services and insurance industries. She graduated from the College of Arts and Sciences of Cornell University and from the George Washington University Law School and is the proud mother of a Georgia Institute of Technology graduate and a Clemson University graduate.

Ryan Egan | Director of Finance
Ryan is an accomplished financial leader with over fifteen years’ experience at multiple fortune 500 companies prior to joining Technolutions in 2016. As Director of Finance, he leads our financial operations and is responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive financial and business processes to support and drive Technolutions’ success. Ryan holds a BS in Business and Accounting from SUNY Plattsburgh.

Drew Flock | Director of Engineering
Drew leads our technical and software engineers in the Engineering Division. They work to develop a flexible and intuitive platform capable of providing best-in-class experiences to transform the user’s daily experience. Drew has a BA in Physics and Secondary Education from Knox College where, prior to joining Technolutions in 2014, he implemented Slate for Admissions.

Peter Snow | Chief Information Officer
Peter is responsible for our information technology, including infrastructure, cybersecurity, policies and compliance, and vendor management. He helps ensure that our IT services, both internal and external facing, meet our high standards of availability and robust security. Prior to joining Technolutions in 2012, he spent 15 years working in software development and IT management at Yale University. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Trinity College Dublin, Ireland, and an MS and MPhil from Yale, all in Biology.

Paul Turchan | Director of Community Support
Paul leads the Community Support Division at Technolutions, which is responsible for working alongside the Slate community to share best practices and engaging in proactive outreach. Prior to joining Technolutions in 2015, Paul worked in college admissions as the Admissions Technology & Operations Director at Jacksonville University. Additionally, Paul served in the United States Marine Corps. Paul has a BS in Psychology from the University of North Florida and a MA in Organizational Leadership from Gonzaga University.
