Technolutions Flyerboard
Flyerboard provides interactive touchscreen LCD information displays that provide immediate access to highly-relevant information. Flyerboard runs on large displays, typically 40" or 46" with a full 1080p HD picture. When equipped with touch sensors, the Flyerboards provide an immersive experience with immediate access to a wide range of content.
Unlike traditional digital information displays, which separate digital signage and kiosks, Flyerboard is interactive digital signage with an immersive experience. Applets are group friendly, and multiple people can be engaged with the Flyerboard at any time.
At Yale, students upload flyers to YaleStation (powered by Technolutions Univariant),
where the flyers are displayed around campus on the Flyerboards.
Personalized Experience
Branded Identity
Control the branding of all Flyerboards across campus while enabling authorized users to customize the content, and contribute to and administer Flyerboards from your university's dot-edu website, or integrate with your campus portal.
Identity Aware
Integrates with single sign-on and central authentication services, so you don't need a separate account or password. When connected to LDAP phonebook, identity and role data are available for personalized content selection. Create location- and identity-aware custom applets using standard HTML and JavaScript.
Rich Content
Diverse Features
Existing applets include movie showtimes, events calendars, RSS news feeds, stock quotes, PowerPoint displays, looping and on-demand video, and others. Applets can cycle on non-interactive screens, and on touch-ready screens a wide variety of rich content is only a tap away.
Mobile Integration
Screens support Bluetooth, SMS text messaging, and iPod/iPhone docks for direct mobile integration. Text yourself a reminder about an event, download a walking tour to your iPod, or install the free iPhone app to take the flyerboard with you.

Commandeer boards to publish announcements, display videos, or other day- or time-specific programming.
Remote Management
Manage and remotely update Flyerboards without needing to plug-in directly. Program screens individually or as a group, by day or time, by user or user group.

Old flyers are automatically removed, inappropriate flyers may be removed from all screens simultaneously, and an audit trail provides a record of which user uploaded the offending content and when.

Cost
Flyerboard annual licenses start at $1,000, and include all maintenance and support costs. Hardware purchase costs are about $2,500 for touch-ready screens including all essential hardware and peripherals.
